Jon Wood
Jon Wood is an art historian and curator who specialises in twentieth-century and contemporary sculpture. He did his post-graduate study and PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art and is 'Research Curator' at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds. Recent publications include: Making It: Sculpture in Britain 1977-1986 (Art Council, 2015-16) 1913: The Shape of Time (2012-13), United Enemies: The Problem of Sculpture in Britain in the 1960s and 1970s (2011-12), Articulate Objects: Voice, Sculpture, and Performance (with Aura Satz) (2009), Against Nature: The Hybrid Forms of Modern Sculpture (2008), Modern Sculpture Reader (with Alex Potts and David Hulks) (2007, and Getty 2012), Carl Plackman: Sculpture, Drawing, Writing (2006), With Hidden Noise: Sculpture, Video and Ventriloquism (2004) and Close Encounters: The Sculptor's Studio in the Age of the Camera (2001). Wood is also co-editor of the Sculpture Journal.
